Ann Herrick grew up in Connecticut, where she graduated from The Morgan School and Quinnipiac University Her interest in writing grew out of a love of books developed by her parents who read to her, and great teachers in an excellent school system.
Ms. Herrick is also the author of an illustrated e-book for young children, as well as four novels for older children. The Perfect Guy was an International Reading Association/Children's Book Council Children's Choice winner and an American Library Association Recommended Book for Reluctant Readers. The author also writes short stories for children and teenagers and copy for humorous greeting cards.
Along with her cats, Ann Herrick now lives with her husband in Eugene, Oregon, where their grown daughter and grand-dog also reside. She loves to hear from her readers and may be contacted through her web site at http://ann.herrick.home.att.net
